Mascara - this is a really good product. It doesn't give me spider legs or raccoon eyes. It stays on. It comes off when I want it to. I am all around very pleased with it. It's funny. I've been getting more compliments on my eyes lately. This is the only thing I've changed. So maybe it's the mascara, but I always wear black mascara, maybe it's just that I have beautiful eyes! Lol kidding
The makeup remover- I'll need a little more time to review this one. I live in California and it's the middle of summer. I also live in a really old house that stays hot. This year, in particular, has been extra hot and we've been at over 100° (40°) for over 6 weeks straight. That's not normal. That's not okay, right?? Anyway, what does this have to do with makeup remover? Well coconut oil has a 78° melting point. My house does not get below 83°, so all coconut oil stays melted in my house all summer long. This product is no exception. Since I do not want to waste it, I will be waiting until the weather cools down to truly try this.
I will tell you another thing I attempted with this is putting it in the refrigerator. It did get it nice and solid, but maybe a little too solid. I did try using it in this solid state and it felt good on my eyes. It It left them nice and soft and it smelled nice. It did remove the makeup but it was a little clumpy, and I know that's not how it's supposed to behave. So I'd rather review this in its natural state as intended.
While not part of this package. I also tried the lipstick. Let me start by saying I don't wear lipstick. I don't like lipstick. I don't like the way it feels and I don't like the way it looks on me. Having said that, I've been actually very pleasantly surprised by this lipstick. It goes on more like a balm and has a very light tint. I've been wearing it almost every day for a couple of weeks now. And will continue to wear it. This is the major shift in my makeup routine. I also like the snappy container. I don't know why but that just puts a big smile on my face.
